MySpace access is inclusive within the ALL ACCESS PASS or can be purchased as a stand alone option. Studio access is granted with a key fob during the available MySpace time slots. Train in your own space, with purpose, at your own convenience in a semi private environment with access to everything you need at your fingertips. No waiting for equipment!
There are 6 dedicated pods for booking. Grab a buddy or a small group of friends for added accountability, motivation and FUN! No need to be following the same program. Be sure to select the program that best suits your needs.
A semi private "essentials session" is offered to help you get acquainted with access, the equipment and programming. Look for an ESSENTIALS session on the schedule.
health defined
Health can be defined as being free from illness or injury. We however view health in a much broader context, much like a fabric, that has many elements tightly woven together. Fitness alone is incomplete. Health is the foundation of performance, where said performance speaks to the individual and their objectives unique to their stage of life. Our training methodologies are designed around becoming unbreakable, accounting for appropriate dosage and adequate variablity. When it comes to fitness, it may not necessarily equal health. The fitness narrative, while well intentioned, is fickle and has the ability to colour the health seekers' understanding of perhaps what might be too much of a “good” thing or worse, clouds the perspective of sound advice with sound bites and hollow promises. We want to address that!
Human performance defined
Performance in a nutshell is “how well”, usually followed by “an objective” and encompasses the idea of being resilient (recovering well and injury free), strong and powerful. Traits of an athlete, but we see these traits spill over to anyone at any age, or stage of life. Performance for the 18 year old aspiring athlete is different than that of the 87 year old trying to live an independent life and of course everyone in between that might be looking to excel in what it is they love to do. Performance training methodologies include activation, mobility and recovery strategies, endurance and submax strength development in both muscle and movement (integrated whole body) as well as power development in its respective sporting and for case of argument "life-ing" themes.

Body recomposition/Lean body mass - health

Body Recomposition can be defined as wanting to lose some body fat while simultaneously increasing lean muscle. Inactive adults experience a 3-8% loss of muscle mass per decade followed by a reduction of resting metabolic rate and accumulation of body fat.
The body recomposition program focuses on the fundamental nutritional strategies (executed via nutrition coaching) with an accompanied movement map anchored by MUSCLE BASED strength training to increase lean body mass.
From a health perspective, recomposition yields improvements in the management of high blood pressure, cholesterol profiles and type II diabetes in addition to the promotion of bone density. Performance metrics lend to looking and feeling better with increased functional capacity, strength/muscle tone, coordination, cognitive abilities and of course "crushing it" levels of self esteem!
The program is periodized for 16 weeks. **Note, the Lean Body Mass program delivers the same movement map but does not include nutrition coaching.
successful ageing - health/performance

Successful Ageing is the concept of garnering the abilities of our youth to maintain vitality, function and improve our health span. In our society today we are ageing faster than ever.
Family/career pressure, technology and convenience everything are hijacking activity levels and abilities to make healthy choices in the department of nutrition, stress, and sleep. People as young as 30, (yeah we said 30) are experiencing mobility restrictions/pain, decreased physical literacy/ability, reduced capacity, weight gain/metabolic disorders, anxiety and depression.
If not addressed those mounting progressions soon feel insurmountable. If you ask us, that is ageing the hard way and one thing is for certain, there is no way around getting older.
The Successful Ageing programs can meet you where you at, are highly variable, intensely purposeful and will have you improving your mind, movement, muscles and capacity to “grow younger” and live life to the fullest.
Successful ageing is not just your gramma's program (but we account for those). Successful ageing speaks to everyone who wants to improve their health or lead a high performance lifestyle.
Training phases are diverse and do not follow a periodization model but offer a varied objective within each respective program. Anticipate a wide range of programming in this theme including our new version of "small group training" known as the "POD WOD". POD WOD's are Workouts of the Day, done within the MySpace pods. Look for them on the schedule in a group setting in addition to being posted at the beginning of each week for use at your own discretion with your MySpace access.
recreational athlete - performance

The Rec Athlete can be defined as the avid runner/endurance athlete, weekend warrior, teamster, “I’ll play anything anytime”, what season is it adrenaline junkie, hard core adventure racer, golf guru err something, retired professional but still got some game athlete.
The anatomy of the athletic program has many components in common. Attributes of the endurance foundation, activation of support structures involved in balance and stability, strength that favors whole body integrated movements over strictly muscle based movements, power to accelerate, declerate and convert to multiple skill based activities, energy system development and of course mobility and regeneration to stay on top of our game.
Ladder up some solid preparation or chip away throughout the season. Each program is periodized for 12 weeks. Athletic sub themes include; Ski and Snow board, Endurance (run/cycle), Mountain Biking, Golf, Multidirectional athletes.
Phases of the rec athlete program are thoughtfully progressed and will highlight the specificity of each activity once baseline adaptations have occured throughout the 12 weeks.
